Researchers have successfully developed an automatic pendulum velocity measurement system using LDR sensors and Arduino technology, achieving an impressive 97.86% accuracy at small angles. The system precisely detects pendulum movement by measuring light intensity changes, offering a more reliable and practical alternative to traditional stopwatch methods. While the accuracy decreases at larger angles or in non-harmonic oscillations, the study highlights the potential of refining algorithms and sensor selection for broader applications in physics experiments and engineering research.

This research aligns with SDG 4 by providing an innovative and accessible tool for teaching fundamental physics concepts. It also supports SDG 9 by utilizing affordable digital technologies to enhance scientific measurements. Additionally, it contributes to SDG 12 by promoting efficient and precise data collection methods, reducing reliance on less accurate manual techniques.
